The Florida SMaSH Beer Festival – Fund Raiser for Second Harvest Food Bank
September 12, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Florida SMaSH Beer Festival was created to celebrate the creativity and camaraderie of breweries in the Sunshine State, and to provide an opportunity to give back to the community.
Proceeds of the SMaSH festival are donated to Second Harvest Food Bank, creating the perfect opportunity to feel good about your day drinking.
Each brewery must concoct a beer made from the same single malt and single hop. This limitation forces brewers to think outside the box, while focusing on innovative flavor, outstanding quality, and technique.
This year’s chosen malt is Bairds’ 1823 Heritage Collection London Lager Malt. This year’s chosen hop is Yakima’s Quality Cashmere Hops.
With roughly 80 beers to sample, including one-offs from every brewery, there will be something to please everyone.
This year we’re inviting local bands to add to the festivities!
Support local music, support local brews, support Second Harvest Food Bank.
