This brand new, mesmerizing show from acclaimed music director and principal dancer Rahis Bharti pays homage to the rich culture and traditions of India passed down through the generations.

Drawing upon mythology, traditional dance and a variety of Indian musical styles, the legendary Dhamaal Dancers and Musicians of India tantalize the senses with acrobatic flare and world-class musicianship.

The program centers around the ancient tradition of Holi, known throughout the world as the Festival of Colors. Considered one of the largest and most important festivals in India, Holi celebrates the arrival of spring and the passing of winter with an atmosphere of social merriment.

Rahis Bharti’s original program invites you into this world with new songs based on the festival of colors accompanied by traditional and modern instruments– tabla, harmonium, dhol, flute and sitar-all performed alongside mesmerizing choreography.

The Dhamaal Dancers and Musicians of India is a new extravaganza giving you a truly unforgettable experience of the Festival of Colors.

RAHIS BHARTI (Director) is a Jaipur (India) native musician. He is the product of more than seven generations of royal court musicians or “Khan Sehab” who played for the great empiric rulers of India, otherwise known as the “Maharajas.”

Rahis was captivated at an early age by traditional music and dance, which became his life’s work and joy. He has been the guardian of authentic traditional music and dance of Rajasthan for many years. His productions pay homage to this rich culture and tradition of Rajasthan – India the land of kings and queens, sumptuous palaces, and vibrant, colorful, spectacular celebrations of life that contains the inspiring musical heritage which was passed down to him over generations of his courtier musician ancestors.
Driven by this celebrated legacy and creative fire, Rahis’ work keeps Indian Rajasthan’s important heritage alive by bringing it to audiences worldwide.

Rahis Bharti is the creator and director of various program performed by the legendary Dhamaal Dancers & Musicians including Bollywood Masala Orchestra , Jaipur Maharaja Brass Band, Dhoad Gypsies of Rajasthan, which have appeared in over 2500 Performances in 100 countries for the last 17 years.

Rahis Bharti has been awarded as “the Cultural Ambassadors of Rajasthan by UNESCO in Japan Feb 2019 for recognition for outstanding contribution in building bridges of friendship between India and over 100 countries throughout the world.

Some of the company’s most prestigious performances include Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee celebration in London; performing for the honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi; playing for the President of France, François Hollande; collaborated with LP Rock POP American singer in Festival Notte Della Taranta In Italy played for two hundred thousand audience in 2018. Olympic Games 2004 in Athens, Formula 1 Singapore, Sziget Festival Budapest, Hungary, Paleo Festival – Swiss. Mathieu Chedid Pop rock star of France in Elysée Montmartre Paris and a birthday party performance for the lead vocalist and co-founder of The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger.
