Keb Mo’ just celebrated his 25th year in the music business and has cultivated a reputation as a modern master of American Roots music while continually proving that he is a musical force defying typical genre labels. Album after album, 14 in total, Keb Mo’ has earned 12 Grammy nominations, with 5 Grammy wins.
He has also been awarded 14 Blues Foundation Awards, and 6 BMI Awards for his work in TV and Film. His extensive musical resume includes working with such illustrious artists as Bonnie Raitt, Vince Gill, Jackson Browne, Amy Grant, and Natalie Cole, to name just a few. Furthermore, his songs have been recorded by the likes of B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Joe Cocker, Tom Jones, and Melissa Manchester. Additionally, Keb was honored to be included in the star-studded salute to Garth Brooks, at the Library of Congress’ Gershwin Prize for Popular Song on PBS. Keb Mo’ is a true artist, who cares most about the song and makes everything musical his own.
