Breaking Bad Open Mic ft. Bo MF Ellis
July 23, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Bo Ellis is a native of Pontiac, Michigan as well father and a US Army War Veteran who plays “The Vet” in the internationally known group “The Punany Poets” (spokenword safe sex crew) Verbal Penetration Show (as seen on HBO REAL SEX 24, 26 and PLAYBOY).
He has been voted Underground Grammy Poet of the Year. He’s been featured on the TV show Spoken that was aired on Robert Townsend’s The Black Family channel. He’s been on many different stages from New York to California, multiple shows in the islands, and has also taken time to share his art with soldiers in Iraq and Germany for entertainment.
He’s has opened for big time artist such as Tank, Silk and J Holiday just to name a few. Since being awarded poet of the year he’s been crowned King of Erotic Poetry and we can understand why once seeing him make love to the microphone with words when on stage. Bo Ellis describes his performance style as a cross between the raw comedy of Redd Foxx, the sexual passion of Hugh Hefner and the gentleman like mannerisms like Denzel Washington.
Bo Ellis will have you laughing one minute and fantasizing the next. Bo Ellis stresses to us this word RESPONSIBILITY, for a world that knows the meaning but not how to take action. You can find Bo Ellis on his website taking everything from this and that. He has release three professional done albums, a DVD and the his first publish book of many to be on the look out for. Talking about sex on stage has become the norm across the country, but no one performs poetry like Bo Ellis.
